These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Amanu Chatbot ("Amanu" or the "Service") provided by Amanu LLC ("Amanu," "we," or "us"). By accessing or using Amanu, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from using the Service.

  1. Amanu Service

1.1 Description: Amanu is a ML-powered chatbot that utilizes OpenAI's API for providing conversational interactions.

1.2 Subscription: To access and use Amanu, you must subscribe to a monthly plan, which includes specified limits on "memories" and "queries" as defined below.

  1. Memories and Queries

2.1 Memories: Amanu allows users to store and retrieve information known as "memories" during conversational interactions. Each subscription plan includes a memory quota that limits the amount of data you can store within Amanu.

2.2 Queries: Amanu processes user queries and generates responses based on the available knowledge. Each subscription plan includes a query quota that limits the number of queries you can make to Amanu within a given period.

2.3 Moderation: Amanu enforces moderation using 3rd party services. If your memories or queries are moderated repeatedly by such services we may proceed with the temporary or permanent suspension of your account and no refund will be issued. We are not responsible for any memory or query that might be deemed unlawful in any way.

  1. OpenAI's API

3.1 Use of OpenAI's API: Amanu relies on OpenAI's API to power its chatbot capabilities. By using Amanu, you acknowledge and agree that OpenAI's API is integrated into the Service.

3.2 Data Handling: We do not have control over the data handled by OpenAI's API, including the memories stored and the queries made through Amanu. Amanu LLC is not responsible for any misuse or abuse of the data handled by OpenAI's API. Please review OpenAI's terms and policies separately for their data handling practices.

  1. Limitations and Disclaimers

4.1 Response and Uptime: Amanu is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to Amanu or timely responses to your queries. We explicitly state that there is no Service Level Agreement (SLA) regarding response times or uptime.

4.2 Reliance on Amanu: You acknowledge that the responses generated by Amanu are based on the information available at the time of the interaction and may not always be accurate, complete, or up-to-date. Therefore, any reliance on Amanu's responses is at your own risk.

  1. User Obligations

5.1 Compliance: You agree to use Amanu in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will not use Amanu for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.

5.2 Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Amanu account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

  1. Intellectual Property

6.1 Ownership: Amanu and all related content, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, logos, and software, are the intellectual property of Amanu LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

6.2 Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of Amanu or its content without our prior written consent.

  1. Termination

7.1 Termination by Amanu LLC: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Amanu at any time and for any reason, without prior notice or liability.

7.2 Termination by You: You may cancel your subscription to Amanu at any time by following the instructions provided in your account settings.

  1. General Provisions

8.1 Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

8.2 Modification: We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on our website. Your continued use of Amanu after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

8.3 Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
